Intercultural Management Concentration (15 units)
The Intercultural Management concentration provides students with the skills necessary to interact effectively with people from cultures other than their own, specifically in the context of international business. Students will learn to understand the role and impact of culture in a wide variety of cross-cultural professional and business situations that can be applied to different organizational contexts. The program aims to provide future business leaders the necessary skills to be effective global managers. Students will gain an authentic appreciation and in-depth understanding of the fundamental role of culture in business practices throughout the world.
Advanced foreign language courses are among the options for students who choose the Intercultural Management concentration. All advanced foreign language courses require a minimum intermediate level of language competency. Students should be aware that additional prerequisite courses may be required for advanced foreign language classes if they do not meet the intermediate competency standards set by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures.
