(18 UNITS)
The Minor in Criminal Justice is for students who want to make a positive impact on their communities. Faculty believe that education is transformational and that the field of criminal justice needs actors who are problem-solvers, communicators and critical thinkers. The minor educates students holistically, combining compassion and empathy with cutting-edge knowledge. The curriculum challenges and inspires future leaders and community members through comprehensive and critical perspectives on crime, policy and justice.
Non-required core courses may count as electives. Students pursuing the minor must earn a “C-” or better in all courses and a minimum 2.0 GPA.
For additional information regarding the Criminal Justice program and its courses, check with the division office in Gordon Hall 511.
