ANTH 475 - Anthropology of Race and Media in the United States (3) Depictions of race and ethnicity in media and popular culture in the U.S., focusing on historical, cultural, socio-economic, political and transnational contexts of racial representations. Considers historical and contemporary examples from theater, film, television, advertising, music and digital media.
Prerequisite: completion of G.E. Category D.1 or graduate standing.
