AMST 459 - Technology and American Culture (3) Relationship between technology and culture in America from industrialization to the present. How technologies, such as the steam engine, automobile, atomic bomb and computer have both been shaped by larger cultural ideas, institutions, values and processes in America.
Prerequisite: completion of G.E. Category D.2, POSC 100 or HONR 201B ; or graduate standing.
