AMST 318 - Hollywood and America: Using Film as a Cultural Document (3) Hollywood as a cultural institution. Concentrating on the films of selected periods, the course analyzes Hollywood’s ability to create and transmit symbols and myths, and legitimize new values and patterns of behavior.
Prerequisite: completion of G.E. Category D.1.
