HIST 414A - The Ancient Near East (3) Introduction to the history of the Ancient Near East, from the first cities and states (c. 3500-3000 B.C.E.) to the death of Alexander the Great (323 B.C.E.), focusing on the Assyrian and Persian Empires.
Prerequisite: completion of General Education Category C.2 or C.3 or HIST 110A or graduate standing.
