EGEC 455 - Microelectronics and Nano Devices (3) Quantum mechanical principles, crystal structure, energy brand, carrier transport, carrier generation and recombination, p-n junction, bipolar transistor, MOSFET, MEFET and related devices, basic microwave and optoelectronic technology, crystal growth and fabrication, introduction to nano structure, nano devices and technology.
Prerequisites: EGEC 303 , EGEC 311 ; or graduate standing.
