    Translating traditional graphic design into time and motion-based design. Historical precedents, film nomenclature, storyboarding, software/hardware for the creation of film titles, station/program identification (logo/logotypes), promotion graphics.     Visual storytelling for children is the focus of this course. Students learn the steps of illustrating children’s books: creating book dummies, developing characters, and rendering finished art. Publishing for the juvenile market is emphasized.
