(15 UNITS)

There is strong demand for expertise in programming, data representation and computational principles. With the rise of the web, and digital music, film and humanities, a Minor in Computer Science can complement these and many other interdisciplinary fields of study.

Students may only pursue one undergraduate program offered by the Department of Computer Science (B.S., concentration, minor).

Program Requirements

A minimum of 12 units for the minor must be distinct from coursework that is applied to the major. Six or more units must be upper-division and completed at CSUF.

Students are strongly recommended to complete CPSC 120A/120L, 121A/121L and CPSC 131, which are prerequisites for most of the courses below and may count toward the minor.
