BIOL 303 - Intermediate Cell Biology (3)

Evidence-based examination of cells in action, roles of information, matter and energy flow as driving forces for compartmentation, protein sorting, metabolic and signaling pathways, motility and adhesion; examples taken from developmental, neural and cancer processes.

Prerequisites: Biology major - BIOL 251, BIOL 252, CHEM 120B; Biochemistry major - BIOL 151, BIOL 251, CHEM 120B; other major - BIOL 151, BIOL 152, BIOL 251, CHEM 120B; all with a “C” (2.0) or better. Corequisite: Biology major - BIOL 253L or BIOL 254L.
