Prerequisite: WGST 100, SOCI 101, PHIL 100 or permission of instructor. An advanced introduction to activism studies and the role of gender, race, and sexuality in activist movements both in the US and abroad. Topics may include: labor, environmental, trade, women’s, queer, immigrant, consumer and celebrity activism among others.
