GEOL 498 - Undergraduate Thesis (1-3)

Prerequisite: approval of thesis adviser for first unit. Completion of thesis proposal that is approved by thesis adviser and the Department Undergraduate Adviser for second and subsequent units. Extension of an advanced course, conducted independently by the student under faculty supervision, culminating in a paper of professional quality. Must be taken for credit for a maximum of three units.
