Prerequisite: COMM 233. Provides a foundation in news literacy: using critical thinking skills to judge the reliability and credibility of information reports, whether via print, television, radio or Internet. Read and deconstruct a variety of news stories to determine their level of transparency and trustworthiness. One or more sections may be offered in any online format.
