Prerequisites: MATH 250A , EGCE 201 . Stress and deformation analysis for axial load, torsion, flexure, and combined forces. Analysis of simple statically indeterminate structures. Deflection and stress analysis of beams. Stability of columns. Strain energy and ultimate resistance. Interactive relationships between analysis and design.
