Prerequisites: biology majors, BIOL 274 and CHEM 120B with “C” (2) or better; all others, BIOL 172, BIOL 273 and CHEM 120B with “C” or better. Fundamental mechanisms of mammalian and human physiology. Integration of cellular and organ system functions with emphasis on regulatory processes. For biology majors and related health sciences. (3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory).
