Prerequisites: completion of Biological Science lower-division core. Field biology and natural history of local marine plants and animals. Identification of common species and factors determining their distributions and abundance in marine habitats. Effects of human activities on marine organisms. (2 hours lecture, 6 hours lab or fieldwork; weekend field trips may be required)
