BIOL 303 - Intermediate Cell Biology (3) Prerequisites: biology majors, BIOL 274 and CHEM 120B with a “C” (2.0) or better; all others, BIOL 273 and CHEM 120B with a “C” or better. Evidence-based examination of cells in action, roles of information, matter and energy flow as driving forces for compartmentation, protein sorting, metabolic and signaling pathways, motility and adhesion; examples taken from developmental, neural and cancer processes.
