The College of Engineering and Computer Science, in cooperation with the College of Business and Economics, offers an interdisciplinary Master of Science degree in Engineering Management (MSEM). The degree is for working engineers and professionals who are in leadership or management positions, or who are planning to advance their careers into technical enterprises management. It will also benefit engineering or science graduates interested in assuming leadership positions in the industry.
The Master of Science in Engineering Management is a year-round, 30-unit degree program to be completed in 21-months – two courses per semester. The course schedule will be based on the 16-week semester in the fall and spring, and one 10-week summer session. In addition, students will be required to attend and complete a mandatory orientation prior to beginning the program and a mid-point symposium to review their progress toward completing the final project and for continued authentication of their work.
Students must meet the CSU requirements for admission to a master’s degree program. Please consult the Graduate Admissions section in this catalog for complete information.
