Bachelor of Arts in International Business
The Bachelor of Arts in international business provides a versatile and interdisciplinary foundation for careers and opportunities in global business, including coursework in business communication, international economics, international finance, international law, global marketing, international management and information systems, as well as an overview of the essentials of accounting and economics.
In addition to the requirements for the major, students must meet all other university requirements for a bachelor’s degree. Please consult the Graduation Requirements for the Bachelor’s Degree section in this catalog for complete information.
Admission
Admission to the International Business major involves two steps. Students who apply to the major are initially classified as pre-international business. After completing the lower-division core requirements with grades of “C” (2.0) or better, students may apply to the international business major. Pre-international business students may take lower-division business courses, but most upper-division courses are not open to pre-international business students. Select courses from different disciplines in consultation with a faculty adviser. Students are responsible for adhereing to all prerequisites. Information Systems and Decision Sciences
