Human Services Minor

The Human Services minor may be of interest to students preparing for careers in the helping professions, as well as students with a personal interest in this field. The minor provides a structured selection of courses offered by the program that can complement other majors and minors by providing practical application of theory, foundations and self-exploration, and at least one supervised fieldwork course (120 internship hours) in a human services setting.

Additional Information
Equivalent practicum/internship course from a related University department, accepted upon adviser approval. A total of 9 units from the “Required” section of the minor and any combination of courses from the Elective and Fieldwork areas, with a minimum of 1 Fieldwork class, to total 12 units. |
