Global Health Concentration (18 units)
The B.S. In Public Health, Global Health Concentration develops in students a global perspective on issues in health science, including communicable and non-communicable diseases, food security, and development and health. Students learn to: identify trends in population health; recognize key actors in global health; analyze competing economic, political, and social interests in major global health issues; and develop policies and interventions to address a broad range of health concerns.

* California State University, Fullerton is conditionally authorized to change the degree title of the Bachelor of Science in Health Science to a Bachelor of Science in Public Health effective fall 2018. This conditional authorization will remain in effect until September 30, 2019. Permanent authorization to offer a B.S. in Public Health is contingent upon the CSU Chancellor’s Office final approval.
