Introduction
Asia has become the focus of extensive international business, political relationships, and cultural exchange. In order to keep pace with current developments in this important part of the world, students are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to minor in Asian Studies. Faculty for the Asian Studies minor are drawn from several departments from different colleges, and what they have in common is that they teach and conduct research on Asia. The interdisciplinary nature of the minor allows students the unique opportunity to learn about Asia from broad and differing perspectives.
