AMST 390 - Disability and American Culture (3) Changing meaning, history and experience of disability in American culture through scholarly readings, memoir, film, photography and other cultural documents. Disability in relation to identity, stigma, discrimination, media representations, intersectionality, gender and sexuality, work, genetic testing, and design.
Prerequisite: completion of G.E. Category D.1.
