PHIL 303 - Introduction to the Philosophy of Science (3) The ongoing debates within philosophy of science about the claims of scientific progress, and the limits of scientific knowledge and the scientific method, with an eye on the impact of science on society and of society on science.
Prerequisite: completion of G.E. Category B.1 or B.2; or lower-division philosophy course.
