Preparation to teach jazz in high schools and colleges. Background in administration, preparation, rehearsal and evaluation of the various types of jazz ensembles: big bands, combos and vocal jazz groups. Requires 300 applied level; MUS 281B, MUS 281P, MUS 281W recommended.
