GEOL 321 - Sedimentation and Stratigraphy (4) Sedimentary rocks, including: classification, texture, mineralogy and provenance; introduction to sedimentary environments and interpretation of ancient environments in the rock record; study of stratigraphic methods and patterns. (2 hours lecture, 6 hours laboratory, field trips)
