BIOL 303 - Intermediate Cell Biology (3) Evidence-based examination of cells in action, roles of information, matter and energy flow as driving forces for compartmentation, protein sorting, metabolic and signaling pathways, motility and adhesion; examples taken from developmental, neural and cancer processes.
Prerequisites: Biology major - BIOL 251 , BIOL 253L , BIOL 252 , BIOL 254L , CHEM 120B . Biochemistry major - BIOL 151 , BIOL 251 , CHEM 120B . Other major - BIOL 151 , BIOL 152 , BIOL 251 , BIOL 253L , CHEM 120B all with a C (2.0) or better.
