EDEL 541K - Culture and Education of Korean Students (3) Korean culture, Korean-American history, the socioeconomic contexts of Korean immigration, and their contributions to the United States. Korean cultural values and their educational and social implications, bilingual education issues and teaching strategies. (EDSC 541K and EDEL 541K are the same course). Requires Korean fluency.
Prerequisite: admission to Multiple Subject or Single Subject Bilingual Credential Program or master’s program; or consent of Korean Bilingual Authorization coordinator.
