AMST 407 - American Humor (3) Cultural significance of various types of American humor in past and present settings. How humor reinforces existing culture and also serves as an index and agent of cultural change. Humor’s relationship to ethnicity, region, social class and sex.
Prerequisites: Completion of G.E. Category D.2 or Category D.3 or graduate standing.
