HIST 411B - Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing (3) History of genocide and ethnic cleansing in a global context. Weekly readings and seminar discussions highlight questions of facial violence, victimhood, modernization, nation building, gender, class, and the politics of memory and denial.
Prerequisite: completion of General Education Category D.1 or HIST 110B .
