ECON 335 - The International Economy (3) Theory, practice and institutions of the international economy. International trade and investment, balance of payments, foreign exchange rates, multi-national enterprise, international economic policy. Current trade issues: European Community, trade with developing countries, Eastern Europe and the states of the former Soviet Union; General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT); and others.
Prerequisite: ECON 100 or COMM 201 .
