Anglo-American concept of freedom of speech and press; statutes and administrative regulations affecting freedom of information and publishing, advertising and telecommunication. Libel and slander, rights in news and advertising, contempt, copyright and invasion of privacy.

Prerequisites: COMM 233 , junior standing.
