The framework meets the requirements of the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation guidelines and the requirements of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) for the School Nurse Services Credential (SNSC). The program incorporates the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) 21st Century Framework and Scope and Standards of Practice. The SNSC curriculum is a three-semester, one-and-a-half-year-program. Students must show proof of an audiology course taken from an approved program.
