BIOL 413 - Advances in Molecular Genetics (3) Function of genetic material and informational macromolecules. Extensive analysis of recent scientific articles in molecular genetics illustrating mutagenesis, protein synthesis, protein structure and function, biogenesis of RNA molecules, regulation of gene expression and their relationship to important biological processes.
Prerequisites: BIOL 309 , CHEM 301B ; or CHEM 423A with a “C” (2.0) or better; or graduate standing.
