PHYS 476 - Atomic/Molecular Physics (3) Theory of atoms and small molecules including perturbation methods. Topics include the interaction of atoms and molecules with electric and magnetic fields and electromagnetic radiation, angular momentum coupling, anti-symmetrization, and the spectroscopy of atoms and simple diatomic methods.
Prerequisites: PHYS 300 , PHYS 340 .
