PHYS 330B - Electromagnetic Theory II (3) Applying Maxwell’s equations to the propagation of EM waves in dielectrics, plasmas, and conductors. Selected topics in radiation, diffraction and eigenfunction expansions of static and waveguide fields. Special relativity: Einstein’s postulates, Lorentz transformations, relativistic motion of charged particles.
Prerequisites: PHYS 300 , PHYS 330A .
