MUS 380A - Diction for Singers (English and Italian) (1)

Introduces the International Phonetic Alphabet as the fundamental tool for improvement of singing diction. Refining English and Italian diction through group, individual exercises. Not a substitute for formal foreign-language study. (2 hours activity)

Prerequisites: Music major or minor; sophomore standing or above.
