MAED 532 - Teaching Problem Solving in Middle School Mathematics (3) Seminar to explore techniques of problem-solving for mathematics teachers of grades 5-9. Review of research on problem solving at the middle school level. Review of state and national documents on middle school mathematics education. Emphasis on problem-solving in algebra, geometry, and probability.
Prerequisite: MATH 403B or Secondary Education graduate standing.
