Includes laser spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, chemical sensor, process control, surface science, and microscopy methods; vacuum technology, optics, electro-optics, and electronics components; design and repair of instrumentation.
Prerequisite: CHEM 315 with a C (2.0) or better; or graduate standing.
