Korean culture, Korean-American history, the socioeconomic contexts of Korean immigration, and their contributions to the United States. Korean cultural values and their educational and social implications, bilingual education issues and teaching strategies. One or more sections may be offered in any online format.

Prerequisites: admission to multiple-subject or single-subject bilingual credential program or master’s program or consent of Korean bilingual authorization coordinator; Korean fluency.
