HUSR 435 - Drug Abuse Prevention and Early Intervention (3)

Prerequisite: HUSR 434  or HUSR 415  or HESC 321 . History, theories and models in the drug prevention field. Theoretical foundations and conceptual frameworks that have been used in the field will be presented. Major research and evaluation outcomes on the effectiveness of prevention strategies are examined. Not available for use on a graduate study plan. One or more sections offered online.
