GEOG 431 - Human Response to Environmental Hazards (3) Issues involved as humans endeavor to minimize the impact of hazards in the environment. Importance of cognition, perception, communication, mitigation and preparedness as societies cope with hazards posed by the natural world and human action.
Prerequisites: GEOG 110 and at least one 300-level geography course; GEOG 321 preferred.
