Certificate in Applied Investment Management

The Certificate in Applied Investment Management prepares undergraduate students for careers in asset management, financial planning and financial analysis. Students learn how to manage stock and bond portfolios while developing critical thinking skills and an evidenced-based decision-making process.

Admission


Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • 3.0 GPA either cumulatively or in their finance classes.
  • Pass FIN 320 with a 3.0 or better.
  • Pass FIN 321 with a 3.0 or better; the course is a corequisite for FIN 335 and FIN 340.
  • Submit a one-page essay describing why they are a good candidate for the Titan Capital Management program.
  • Provide a recommendation from a faculty member, coach or supervisor who can provide insight into their character and work ethic.
  • Provide a brief essay on a market-related topic.
  • Interview with a member of the TCM faculty.
