The Spanish minor prepares students to express themselves in spoken and written Spanish in culturally appropriate ways at an advanced level, while learning about linguistics, literature, culture, history, business and society in Spanish-speaking communities around the world. The minor enriches and complements any major field of study.
Intermediate-level competency is required in Spanish prior to pursuing the minor. Students can achieve this level of competency by completing any of the following: lower-level division courses at CSUF, community college and/or high school; AP examinations; and/or study-abroad at a foreign institution.
