Kinesiology Minor

The minor in Kinesiology may be of interest to students preparing for careers in the sport, exercise and allied health-related professions, as well as those with a personal interest in this multidisciplinary field. The minor advances the understanding and practice of human movement across the lifespan and develops skills and knowledge leading to lifelong enjoyment of physical activity, health and well-being.
All approved course work must be taken for a letter grade and completed with “C” (2.0) or better. Students are required to meet with the Kinesiology adviser for assistance to develop a cohesive set of courses that will best support their educational, career or personal goals.

Performance Courses (3 units)
Three courses (1 unit each) must be taken from any three of the following areas: Fitness, Martial Arts/Combatives, Aquatics, Individual Sports, Team Sports, or Racquet Sports.
