Allied Requirement for Voice Concentration

Students in the Voice Concentration must demonstrate proficiency in two or three foreign languages (chose from French, German and Italian), each to be satisfied by one of the following:

• Four years study of foreign language at the secondary school level
• Passing an examination given by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures
• Completing one semester of the beginning or second semester university sequence of each of the three foreign languages (French, German and Italian)
• Completing one semester of the beginning or second semester university sequence of one of the three foreign languages and two semesters of another (French, German or Italian)
