EGEC 381 - Computer Design and Organization (4) Computer system, central processing unit (CPU) organization and design, instruction set and addressing modes, microprogrammed control unit design, cache memory, internal memory, virtual memory, input/output interfacing, parallel processors, superscalar processors (2 hours lecture, 4 hours laboratory).
Prerequisite: EGEC 281 , EGEC 303 both with a “C-” (1.7) or better.
Undergraduate Course not available for Graduate Credit
