LING 414 - English As A Global Language (3) Surveys the ways in which English is used in diverse societies and cultures around the world. It also examines social, cultural, economic, and political implications of the spread of English for international and cross-cultural communication.
Prerequisite: completion of G.E. category A.2 with a C- (1.7) or better; or graduate standing.
