Overview of public health response in safeguarding and investigating food safety issues and food-borne illnesses. Discussion of various requirements in managing a food protection program to identify and prevent important biological and chemical agents of foodborne illnesses.

Prerequisites: PUBH 320 , completion of G.E. Category B.2; Public Health minor; or graduate standing.
