POSC 375 - Law, Politics and Society (3) Law as emergent from political processes, rooted within social norms and communities. Law as a feature of the modern state, a tool for seeking advantage, domination and/or liberation. An overview of legislative, judicial, administrative, and other political processes that produce law.
Prerequisites: completion of G.E. Category D.1; POSC 100 or HONR 201B .
